The Real Jean Phil · Est. 17 September 2026, allegedly
Is Jean Phil real?
No. Jean Phil (Jean Philanthrope) is an AI-generated character. He first appeared on Instagram and TikTok on 17 September 2026, shadowboxing in a Paris flat, and nobody has owned up to making him.
That leaves the post of the real Jean Phil vacant. Upload one photo and we draw you as Jean Phil, free, with a certificate to prove it. For $7.90, you can then take his place in one of his famous videos.

Questions
Is Jean Phil real?
No. Jean Phil (Jean Philanthrope) is an AI-generated character. He first appeared on Instagram and TikTok on 17 September 2026, shadowboxing in a Paris flat, and nobody has owned up to making him. Videos like his are usually made by putting a fixed AI character into ordinary phone footage, which is why he moves like a real person. The man underneath, if there is one, has never been seen.
Is this the official Jean Phil site?
No. There does not appear to be one. We are an independent fan site and have never met Jean Phil. The name is a joke, mostly at our own expense.
What is the free portrait?
Upload one clear photo of yourself, a friend who said yes, or your dog. We draw that face as Jean Phil: the golden bob, the curled moustache, the houndstooth jacket, chin up. It comes on a certificate you can download and post. It costs nothing and needs no email.
How does the stand-in video work?
Pick one of his videos and we put your portrait in his place: same moves, same camera, same location. You get a 15-second vertical (9:16) MP4 at 720p. It costs $7.90, paid once, no account.
How much does it cost?
The portrait and certificate are free. A stand-in video is $7.90, paid once. No subscription, no account.
Does the video have his music?
No, it comes without sound: the songs in his videos belong to other people. On TikTok, open the original video, tap “Use this sound”, and the music is his.
Can I use my dog?
Yes. The dog gets the bob, the moustache and the jacket, and will not be consulted. Use a sharp photo where the face fills much of the frame.
How long does it take?
The portrait takes about half a minute. A video usually takes a few minutes after you pay. You can close the page: we email you a private link when it is ready.
What if the video fails?
Your credit comes back automatically and you can try again for free (3 tries per order). If it still does not work, write to support@realjeanphil.com and we refund you, with an apology.
Is Jean Phil British?
No, French: the captions are in French and the backdrops are Paris. The suit is another matter, which is why the English have taken an interest.
Is this connected to the $JEANPHIL coin?
No. A Solana meme coin called $JEANPHIL was linked from his profiles in September 2026. We have nothing to do with it. We sell videos, and nothing that goes up or down.
Which AI makes it?
OpenAI’s GPT Image draws the portrait from your photo. ByteDance’s Seedance 2.0 Mini, a reference-to-video model, makes the video from your portrait and the clip you pick.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo and portrait are deleted after 7 days and a finished video after 30 days. We do not post anything you make. Details are in the privacy policy.
